👋 We are Javid & Khalida.
We started AZRA Painting the same way a lot of small businesses start — as a family trying to build a good life through honest work.
We immigrated to Canada over 20 years ago, and in those early years we learned as much from the people we met as from the work itself. One of those people was a cowboy landowner in Saskatchewan who quietly showed us what it looked like to show up early, work hard through difficult conditions, and still treat people with kindness. That example stayed with us.
Over the years, through moves, changing markets, and countless residential and commercial projects, AZRA grew steadily. Not by chasing volume, but by focusing on something simpler: doing good work, treating people fairly, and standing behind the result.

That idea still guides how we approach every project today.
Working in someone’s home or business is personal. We don’t take that lightly.
People often tell us that the process feels calm. We listen first. We try to understand what matters to you, what your constraints are, and what outcome you’re actually hoping for. If there’s a way to get a great result without overdoing the scope or the budget, we’ll talk that through honestly.
We care about how the job feels while it’s happening — not just how it looks when it’s done. That means being respectful of your space, showing up when we say we will, and communicating clearly along the way.

Much of our work comes from referrals. That’s something we’re proud of, because it means people felt good enough about the experience to pass our name along.
Today, AZRA Painting serves homeowners, business owners, and realtors across the Lower Mainland.
Our work ranges from residential refreshes to commercial spaces and pre-sale painting, all approached with the same care and attention to detail.
